Small Business Recovery

We’re here to help.

We know 59% of small businesses are doing it tough at the moment*, so we wanted to create a way to support your business to innovate and reach new and existing customers during this difficult time.

Following a successful Economic Recovery Hackathon, where the SpareRoom Collective presented a winning solution to the huge Travel and Tourism Income gap, we have created a Small Business Recovery Package for local businesses who need a leg up.

How it works

We'll work closely with you to give a jump start to your recovery plan.

It begins with a conversation about your business needs, assets and aspirations.

Then the creative problem solving kicks in: looking at how your offer can flex across the different stages of restrictions, where your business can meet new consumer needs and behaviour, and what opportunities you can credibly evolve your business towards.

What do I get?

In 48hrs we'll provide you with three business ideas that access your customers again and/or bring in new customers to help ensure dollars keep coming through your doors.

How Much?

As a business we're committed to helping small businesses bounce back, so we’ll only be charging for our time to develop hacks for your business recovery.

Price: $6,000

If you are eligible for the NSW government's Recovery Grant you can use it to invest in your marketing and effectively receive a 50% discount on your Business Recovery Package.

Don’t just take our word for it.

“The Spare Room Collective has given us a true focus to what we offer as a business, how we stand out from the crowd and therefore how we want to represent ourselves into the future. From this, a new logo and website were developed and we couldn't be more pleased with the result and the really positive responses from our existing clients (and a few new ones). I felt listened to and valued by them with every query managed efficiently and professionally."

*Xero commissioned global research group CoreData to conduct an online survey of 1,002 small businesses in Australia over two weeks to 18 June 2020 to measure the range of responses to the shutdowns needed to contain the virus. Some 59 per cent of businesses report that the COVID-19 crisis has had a negative impact on business whereas 4 per cent report a positive impact.
